The Neomuna city on Neptune is where the new Destiny 2 DLC Lightfall transports us. Our mission will be to protect the city after the cabal’s shadow legion seizes it.
In the narrative, two new races are presented.
The local cloud striders, who are also reportedly our comrades, resemble us guardians quite a bit. We encounter a brand-new foe in the form of the tormentors. It is unknown if they are associated with the Kabal invasion.
Of course, the DLC also introduces numerous innovations: players may anticipate a raid on the city, new subclasses, and the addition of a brand-new skill called strand. It serves as a special offensive weapon and a sort of magical grappling hook in the trailers that have been made public so far.
The New Race
Neomuna’s defenders are called Cloud Striders. They are viewed as the polar opposite of Guardians because they choose to defend themselves rather than being chosen. Cloud Striders focus on the selfless act of volunteering and improving their technology by paying with their lifespan.
Abilities
Next to “Strand”, which is available for every class, there are also numerous of other abilities such as “Rope Dart” for the hunters, which will give players a ranged weapon as it functions like a whip that will slay enemies from a distance.
“Strand claws” for the titans are another set of abilities which is for players that just love close combat melee action, with the strand claws you can turn your hands into claws and the rest is up to your imagination.
“Missile Range” for the warlocks gives them the ability to summon target missiles that explode on collision.
The End Of Destiny 2?
Bungie announces the conclusion of the light and dark narrative with the 7th expansion, with the final DLC, “the final shape,” to come in 2024.
Destiny is now having a lot of difficulties; just in November, it experienced its lowest Steam player count ever. With this new DLC bungies hopes to bring new exciting adventures to its players and its looking good.
